While retaining most of the features in previous entries, Age of Wonders III managed to move the genre forward with some very interesting additions, a lot of which made the game more enticing for those who aren’t used to these complex turn-based experience. Let me know what you guys think and/or any suggestions on how to fix this or if it's just nostalgia clouding my judgement. Age of Wonders III was a breath of fresh air for the 4X strategy genre. Is this just my personal bias? Has anyone else felt this way? And is there a mod to change this? How can the graphics in a game years older seem so much better.My specs can handle the game and i have the settings on ultra. but in SM the units were crystal clear and defined where now, as I said, they just seem.off somehow. I often find myself squinting to try to see the details of my units and ultimately coming away with a feeling of missing the old game.ĭont get me wrong, its a great game and has beautiful graphics. undefined? Fuzzy? Blurry? I'm not sure what word to use exactly to fit what I'm seeing, but it just seems that the units are somewhat unclear and and colors tend to blend together.
